As an added bonus, each entry also includes the cangjie input code for both the traditional and simplified versions of each character. That means you can use this app to help you learn to touch-type Chinese characters!

It includes over 7000 character entries and over 21000 word (or phrase) entries.

Speaking of word entries, each character entry includes all words that contain that character. In addition, you can change the selected character from within any word entry so that you can see the character definition for any character within a word.

For the phonetic index, characters that share the same phonetic element are grouped together. That can make it easier for you to remember the sound or pronunciation of some characters.

When looking up characters via their English definition, you can easily switch definitions from within the entry.

The system has been designed to be easy to learn. Its also been designed to make it as easy as possible to navigate between various definitions so that you can see characters or words in different contexts to get a better sense of their meaning.
